It is required by law to contact Miss Dig before beginning a project that involves any kind of excavation. Accidentally hitting underground lines—gas, sewer, electric, water, and more—can be dangerous to you and those in your community. Damage to these underground lines can be expensive to fix and may cause a disruption in your community’s service.
Miss Dig will clearly mark all underground power lines, gas lines, and other utilities free of charge before you begin your project. Even small projects such as installing a mailbox require a call to Miss Dig.
