Project Pride is an opportunity for Holland City residents to dispose of items that are too large or not accepted during normal weekly curbside trash pick up. Residents may come to City Hall to request a voucher for a one-time load of miscellaneous items. (Maximum weight of 1/2 ton).

Residents must be enrolled in the City's Residential Refuse & Recycling Program, utilizing the City's designated hauler, to be eligible for a Project Pride Coupon. If you have questions about your eligibility, please call 616.355.1330. Additionally, all refuse accounts (including Yard Waste) must be paid up to date.

Coupons can only be obtained at City Hall either at the 1st floor Concierge Desk or the 3rd floor Community and Neighborhood Services Department.

Call 355-1330 and inquire about disposal of your rubbish with a Project Pride Coupon.

The following items cannot be accepted at the Project Pride drop-off site:

Household hazardous waste (pesticides, cleaning products, paint products, solvents, aerosols, etc.)
Gasoline or gas cans
Propane tanks
Radioactive materials
Used motor oil.

Note: Extra Large items such as boats, pianos, sheds, other buildings, hot tubs and the like will require an additional processing fee of $100.
